Community

It is in and from community that I draw much of my creative energy, and the Maine and Portland arts have provided many rich connections to people and inspiration, in particular through UMVA and MUSE. You'll also find links to sites for a number of Maine and NE artists here who have had impact on my thinking and/or work.

But the true birthing place has been in the midst of this family foursome, Bob and our sons John and David. All three have supported unstintingly by continuous encouragement, appreciation, honest critique-ing, time, sitting for the first group of "portraits", and endless patience; for all that and more you have my endless love and gratitude!

As this site evolves it will contain a facility to interact, with others, in community arts forum.
